Biographical Notes:
Mediating since 1985 to present , by 2008 had completed in excess of 3000 mediations. Initial focus on Family Mediation was broadened and now includes specializations in Personal Injury, Employment Law Egineering and Construction disputes amongst others. Have Taught some initial courses in Mediation as well as having acted as an arbitrator in numerous private matters. I am a coach and Educator in the York . Unversity Advanced Mediation program and the small claims mediation practicum. Additionally I am one of the certified child protection mediators in Toronto. And a Workplace Fairness Analyst with the Institute for Workplace Fairness

BA Psych York university 1985. Cert. Mediation UofT1985. 6 month Internship Oshwa Family Court. Mediator in private practice since. MA Counselling Psych Vermont 1991. Ph.D. in Counselling 1997. RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: My standard rate for OMMP mediations is, as allowed by the rules.I charge $400per hour for all time beyond, and for all non-Roster mediations. A charge of $200 per hour is payable for travel that exceeds .25 hour fees are divided equallybetwween the parties with counsel being jointly responsible for all fees. A commensurate fee is charged for faxing, long-distance and an administrative costs A retainer may be required for multi-party bookings
Payment: Parties will be invoiced with the 24.1b payment is usually expected for Mandatory Matters prior to or at the mediation.In private mediations, invoice terms are Net 30 days, thereafter interest is charged @2%permonth.
Cancellation Policy: The minimum charge of $300 applies after the date is set and the 24.1 b is sent . If cancelled more than one week before the scheduled time, the fee is $400. If the mediation is cancelled less than one week of the scheduled day, fee is a minimum of three hours. Any fee is payable by the parties equally. There may also be an additional charge for cancellation of facilities, depending on where the mediation is held.
