Biographical Notes:

Over 700 mediations of workplace, employment, commercial, corporate, insurance and other types of conflicts and civil disputes. Extensive civil litigation experience since 1978. Developed, delivered and participated as trainer, coach and/or skills assessor in many negotiation, mediation and conflict management training programs provided to both public and private sector clients including Canada Revenue Agency, the National Defence mediator development program, the Canadian Transportation Agency mediation program, Carleton University, Algonquin College and the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Sessional lecturer at Carleton University in the undergraduate course in Mediation since September 2000. Author of the book Winning in the Workplace: ADR Strategies for Employment Disputes and co-author of the 2004 book The Art and Science of Mediation. Over 200 hours of mediation and conflict resolution training including ADR Certificate from the Canadian International Institute for Applied Negotiation in 1995.
