Biographical Notes:
 From 1977 to 1980, Mr. Blasina was In-house Counsel for the then International Woodworkers of America, Regional Council No. 1. He afterward began a litigation practice in industrial relations and collective agreement arbitration. This transformed into an arbitration and mediation practice commencing in 1987. He has considered disputes in the private, public, provincial, federal, and transnational sectors across a broad spectrum of employment settings. He retired from the Law Society of British Columbia in 2011, and then served five years as a Member of the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. Currently, he is semi-retired and would be available for mediations, med/arbs, or expedited arbitrations where a brief award would be acceptable.
